Appointment

Marie-Georges Boulay appointed to the Arcep Executive Board


The President of the Senate has appointed Marie-Georges Boulay to the Arcep Executive Board, as of 1 May 2026.

Holder of a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Business Law from the Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Marie-Georges Boulay also holds a PhD in International Business Law.

After beginning her career as a policy officer for European Affairs at the Ministry for Postal Affairs and Telecommunications, in 1995 she joined carrier SFR as the Director of Regulation, Competition and External Relations, and crowned her tenure as Deputy Secretary-General of the Altice France/SFR Group in December 2024.

Marie-Georges Boulay comes to succeed Marie-Christine Servant, who has been a member of the Arcep Executive Board since 16 February 2024. Arcep extends its sincere thanks for her dedication and contributions to the Authority’s work.

The Arcep Executive Board is composed of seven members: Laure de La Raudière (Chair), Sarah Jacquier Pelissier, Xavier Merlin, Mireille Clapot, Akim Oural, Zacharia Alahyane and Marie-Georges Boulay. Three of them, including the Chair, are appointed by the President of the Republic. The other four are appointed, respectively, by the President of the National Assembly and the President of the Senate.
