ARCEP launches a consultation on a draft decision on accounting guidelines and La Poste's regulatory accounting submissions

The French Electronic communications and postal regulatory authority (ARCEP) is holding a public consultation that will run until 14 January 2013 on a draft decision concerning accounting guidelines and La Poste's regulatory accounting submissions, pursuant to Para. 6 of Article L. 5-2 of the French Postal and electronic communications code.

The purpose of this decision is to bring changes to tax cost allocation regulations tied to VAT exemptions for certain La Poste services, and to the index used for allocating transportation costs. These changes will come into effect for the regulated accounts produced for 2012.
