Paris, 4th December 2015
Alongside our European counterparts within BEREC, ARCEP is highly engaged in preparing the implementation of the newly adopted regulation on Net Neutrality.
In this context, ARCEP publishes today the English translation of a document published on September 21, which delivers a summary of the current regulatory framework, with a view to the newly adopted regulation, and of the legal provisions being introduced at the national level in France.
For informational purposes, four fact sheets have been produced on the main points addressed by the new regulatory framework: traffic management, commercial practices, optimised services that are distinct from internet access and the quality of internet access services.
Each of these fact sheets explains the underlying issues, and sets them in the context of the current situation in France. They then describe what will change as a result of the new European regulation.
