Paris, 30 June 2015
Last night, the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission reached an agreement over the Connected Continent legislative package. The adopted regulation includes provisions on net neutrality and the eradication of roaming charges.
ARCEP welcomes this policy agreement which marks the first step towards achieving Europe's digital agenda.
As the French government announced on 18 June, the bill on the digital economy must implement specific provisions contained in the European text, and particularly those that will give ARCEP the ability to be the guarantor of net neutrality.
