Autorité de régulation des télécommunications (ART) published today its Mobile Observatory for the second quarter 2003 and announced upcoming changes to the Mobile Observatory.
Starting the third quarter 2003, new indicators for recurring sales, ARPU and voice traffic will be included in the Mobile Observatory. These indicators will be based on a harmonised definition for the three operators and will be published in the form of totals.
Moreover, starting the third quarter, the Mobile Observatory will present total figures for all mobile operators each quarter and individual figures twice a year.
Finally, an indicator for mobile multimedia will be introduced at the end of 2003.
With these changes, ART hopes to provide the sector with pertinent and objective information, in harmony with the reality of market dynamics.
