The 1st day of bidding has ended in the 700 MHz band auctions in France.
The procedure got underway this morning as planned. It was interrupted late morning to allow all of the participants to observe the moment of silence and commemoration held across France today.
The price during the first round of bidding reached €451 million for each of the six 5 MHz blocks.
The auction is not yet complete as the total amount of spectrum requested by the candidates still exceeds six blocks. The auction will therefore continue tomorrow, on Tuesday 17 November 2015: the 8th round of bidding will be launched at €456m for each block
