Jean-Claude Mallet, President of Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP), will be meeting Ed Richards, OFCOM Chief Executive and board member, in London on 13th February. He will be accompanied by ARCEP board member Nicolas Curien.
This first bilateral meeting with a European regulator will be an opportunity to discuss current issues in the electronic communications field, in particular, the mobile sector, the digital dividend, the deployment of new very high-speed access networks, the revision of the Community framework and the work of the European Regulators’ Group (ERG).
ARCEP’s President will be meeting other European regulators in Berlin, on 26th and 27th February, at the first 2009 plenary meeting of the European Regulators’ Group.
