Céline Bredèche appointed Secretary-General of Arcep


Céline Bredèche has been appointed Secretary-General of Arcep.

The Authority’s Secretary-General is responsible for implementing the resources needed for its operations, to be able to successfully fulfil its duties (human resources, financial and logistical resources, skills management, information system).

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, with a Master’s degree in public law from Université Paris-Sud, Céline Bredèche has been the head of Arcep’s Human Resources unit since April 2016. She has also been the Deputy Director-General since October 2019.

Initially in charge of social dialogue for the Ministry of Culture’s General Secretariat, Céline Bredèche joined the Energy Regulation Commission in 2009, working for its human resources department. She then joined the public institution, “Paris Musées” (Paris museums) in 2016 as Deputy director of Human resources and social relations.

Her appointment to the position of Secretary-General of Arcep will take effect on 1 October 2021. She will be succeeding Catherine Gallet-Rybak, who will be the Deputy director of Administrative, financial and capital affairs for the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA).
