Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, travels to Mauritius for the Fratel annual meeting, and meets with local stakeholders in Mayotte and Réunion

Discussions on network resilience and security with the Fratel network

The 20th annual meeting of the network of French-speaking telecommunications regulators (Fratel) took place on 10 and 11 November in Balaclava, in the Republic of Mauritius. Having made the trip to talk with the many participants attending the event, and to take part in a roundtable on the risks of network congestion, the Arcep Chair delivered a snapshot of the situation experienced in France during the Covid crisis. She also spoke about the measures that were put into place and the lessons learned during that period. Close to 110 participants representing 26 regulatory authorities, Fratel members, international institutions (ITU, Internet Society), government administrations, academics and stakeholders from the sector attended this event, in person and remotely[1].
