Philippe DISTLER appointed Director General of ART as of 1st October

Jean Marimbert, Senior member of the Council of State, who had been Director General at Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications (ART) since January 2001, will leave ART at the end of September. He has been appointed by the government for a temporary mission on the employment policy.

As of 1st October, he will be replaced by Philippe Distler, who is a telecommunications engineer, currently responsible for the interconnection and new technologies department at ART.
