As announced, the chairman of Autorité de régulation des telecommunications (ART) held a meeting of the three mobile telephony operators-Bouygues Télécom, France Telecom Mobiles and SFR-as well as France Telecom, on 12 February, to discuss pricing and routing conditions for incoming calls, i.e. calls made from a fixed phone to a mobile telephone.
The meeting allowed an in-depth exchange of views, especially as regards the economic issues related to the subject. Bilateral meetings will follow between ART and each operator, before plenary meetings are held once more.
Participants set for themselves the goal of adopting common directions and applying initial measures within a period of three months.
