Stéphane Lhermitte appointed Director of Economic affairs and forward planning.Olivier Corolleur appointed Director Electronic communications services and consumer relations.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Ensae ParisTech and Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Stéphane Lhermitte began his career in 2002 as a research officer at France's national statistics office, INSEE, before becoming a research officer at ARCEP in 2005. He later became Head of the Fixed market regulation unit, then head of the Mobile market unit.

In 2008, Stéphane joined the National Treasury where he was in charge of the Office of Financial research, before being appointed Head of the Economic Department of the French Embassy to Portugal.

On 1 September, Stéphane Lhermitte will take up the position of ARCEP's Director of Economic affairs and forward planning.

He comes to replace Olivier Corolleur who, on 1 September, will become the Director of Electronic communications services and consumer relations.

A member of the Corps of Engineers, and a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paris Tech, Olivier Corolleur was assigned to the Ministry of Industry in 2003 where he was first in charge of the secretariat for the National network for research in telecommunications, and later policy officer for the creation of competitive clusters. In 2007 he joined the Prime Minister's Office as chief of the Directorate of Media Development's Communication Technologies and Networks bureau (which in January 2010 became the Ministry of Culture and Communication's General Directorate for Media and Cultural Industries).

He joined ARCEP on 1 December 2010, first as head of the Spectrum regulation and management unit, and Deputy Director of the Spectrum and equipment manufacturer relations department, and has been the Director of Economic affairs and forward planning since October 2012.
