The French Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ART) allocates frequencies to a cable network operator for the transmission of television programmes for the first time

The French Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ART) has allocated audiovisual transmission frequencies to Hérault Vidéopole.

These frequencies enable the company to establish links supporting the transmission of a television channel between Montpellier and a site in Sainte Baudille, and between Sainte Baudille and nine cable network receptors throughout the department of the Hérault, using point to multipoint technology.

It is the first time that ART has allocated frequencies for the transmission of television programmes via a relay between the television programme production site and network receptor
