The French Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ART) holds the second draw enabling operators to reserve a carrier selection prefix

The French Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ART) - which controls the national numbering plan - has just held the second draw, involving the operators Omnicom and Siris, for the " E " digit which will enable telephone subscribers to select their long distance carrier from 1st January 1998.

The outcome was as follows:

Omnicom chose number 5

Siris chose number 2
