Arcep, the first government agency in France to be certified a “Great Place to Work”, upon first nomination



Arcep is the first government agency in France to obtain “Great Place To Work” certification after its first nomination

Arcep, which took part in an employer certification process for the first time, has just been recognised as a “Great Place To Work”. Specialised in assessing the quality of the employee experience in the workplace, Great Place to Work awards certification to companies and government agencies who “create an outstanding employee experience”.

With an 81% “Trust Index” score (giving positive answers about the organisation and working conditions), Arcep well exceeds the threshold require to obtain “Great Place To Work” certification

Every Arcep staff member took the survey between September and 10 October 2023, with a participation rate of 82%.

Eighty one percent of these answers satisfied the “Trust Index” criteria, providing positive answers about the organisation and its working conditions. An organisation can obtain a “Great Place To Work” certification with a 65% score on this index; Arcep well exceeds that threshold.

The responses included the following:

  • 90% of staff members said that Arcep is “a government agency where it is great to work”;
  • 84% of staff members said that they are “proud to work at Arcep and to contribute to the public good”. They like how new hires are welcomed, the friendliness, the working environment, and the fact of working with managers who are recognised for their skills and positive leadership;
  • 96% of them say they are “very involved” in carrying out meaningful assignments;
  • 92% find the working environment friendly and 89% find it healthy.
