Credo webinar
The Cercle CREDO will be hosting a webinar to present its new guide to complex installations, the deliverable of a working group involving 40 contributors (DGE, ANCT, operators, Avicca, FNCCR…). Arcep Executive Board member, Zacharia Alahyane, will take part in an experts panel discussion.

Field trip with the Minister delegate for AI and digital affairs
On 4 December, Arcep Director-General, Olivier Corolleur, accompanied Anne Le Henanff, France’s Minister delegate for Artificial intelligence and Digital affairs, during a trip to the Pas-de-Calais. They visited Exalta, a company that has integrated AI into its manufacturing processes for surgical instruments. This was preceded by trips to Etaples, then Vermelles to talk with local officials, the president of the French Telecoms Federation (FFT) and the president of Xp Fibre, the infrastructure operator in charge of deploying fibre in the area.

Avicca autumn TRIP
Laure de La Raudière delivered the opening remarks to the Avicca autumn TRIP. Her talk, published on the Arcep website, addressed the promises of connectivity, transition issues and the vital forecasting exercise led by Arcep to prepare for the connectivity of tomorrow. She also spoke about the need to strengthen the role of women in tech.

Monitoring a rehabilitation scheme, alongside local officials and operators
Laure de La Raudière, accompanied by Marie-Christine Servant, Zacharia Alayane and Arcep teams, travelled to Cormeilles-en-Parisis on Monday, 24 November. An initial visit, in April 2025, had brought together elected officials from the urban community of Val Parisis, infrastructure operator Xp Fibre, and ISPs SFR, Bouygues Telecom, Orange and Free. This meeting had let to multiple concrete commitments: rehabilitation of dilapidated networks, implementing a short loop to handle the most complex cases, and improving coordination processes. The purpose of this second meeting was to establish a detailed status report, and to ensure that the commitments made in April had been fulfilled.

107th Congress of Mayors
Ghislain Heude, Director of Arcep’s “Fibre, infrastructures and territories” department, attended the Congress of French Mayors, to discuss the regulatory provisions governing the copper network switchoff. Franck Tarrier, Director of Arcep’s “Mobile and innovation” department attended as well and took part in a panel discussion on mobile connectivity on railway networks, alongside Raphaël Poli, Deputy Director-General of SNCF Gares & Connexions, Louis Nègre, mayor Cagnes-sur-Mer and president of the transport authorities association, GART, and Arnaud Lucaussy, Secretary-General of TDF.

Internet Governance Forum
Arcep Executive Board member, Akim Oural, delivered the opening remarks at the Forum on Internet Governance in France, hosted by Internet Society France. He spoke about Arcep’s actions in support of an open internet, and how vital its regulation and governance are to protecting the common good that is the internet, and to preserving its core values. Tour of the Rogervoice telecommunication relay centre
Arcep Executive Board member, Xavier Merlin, spoke at the annual conference of the International Institute of Communication, in Bogota, Colombia. He discussed Arcep’s regulatory objectives and methods, such as data-driven regulation and the New Deal for Mobile.

Green Tech Forum
Arcep Executive Board member, Mireille Clapot, spoke at the GreenTech Forum about the Authority’s work on sustainability and the environment, and in particular about AI’s environmental footprint. It was a chance to comment on Arcep’s recent contribution to the European Commission consultation on the strategic roadmap for digitalisation and AI in the energy sector.

Meeting with a delegation from Latin American and the Caribbean
At the invitation of Expertise France (a subsidiary of the French Development Agency/AFD), Arcep spoke to a high-level delegation of minsters and regulatory authorities from nine countries from Latin America and the Caribbean (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Peru, Uruguay) to explain France’s regulatory framework for fibre and mobile networks. It provided an opportunity to present the country’s good FttH deployment and mobile coverage results, and to discuss competition and regional digital development issues with participants, alongside the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT).
