“Numérique in commun[s]” Event
This year, Arcep was a “Numérique in commun[s]”(Digital in common(s)) event partner, co-hosted by the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT) and Eurométropole de Strasbourg. 1,800 participants attended the 2025 edition which was held at the Palais universitaire in Strasbourg. Arcep teams, along with Executive Board members, Mireille Clapot and Akim Oural, took part in multiple panels on AI and internet openness, ICT’s environmental footprint, and e-government services. Authority staff also gave a masterclass on Arcep’s " Mon réseau mobile " (My mobile network) map-based tool. Mireille Clapot spoke at the plenary opening session.

56th annual IIC conference
Arcep Executive Board member, Xavier Merlin, spoke at the annual conference of the International Institute of Communication, in Bogota, Colombia. He discussed Arcep’s regulatory objectives and methods, such as data-driven regulation and the New Deal for Mobile.

Field trip to Antony
Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, accompanied by Arcep staff members, attended a meeting with infrastructure operators Orange and XpFibre 92, as well as ISPs, hosted by the mayor of Antony. Topics included FttH network rollout and operational quality issues in this municipality located in a very high-density area.

ERGP Stakeholders Forum
Mireille Clapot, member of the Arcep Board, will represent the Authority at the next ERGP Stakeholders Forum. For this sixth edition, discussions between postal market regulators will focus on the resilience of the sector and the influence of the geopolitical context (notably marked by increases in customs duties in the United States) on its activities.

Fratel annual meeting
Laure de La Raudière, Chairwoman of Arcep and Fratel, and Xavier Merlin, member of the Arcep Board, will travel to Luxembourg for the next annual meeting of the French-speaking telecommunications regulatory network. Discussions between national regulators will focus this year on ‘the local impact of major international digital players’.

Forum on inter-IAA-IPA mobility
Arcom and the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP) held their 2nd Forum on inter-IAA-IPA mobility, bringing together 19 independent administrative authorities (IAA) and public authorities (IPA). The goal was to introduce the different authorities to one another and present mobility and career opportunities within this network.

Green Digital Action Summit
This event brings together partners from around the globe to advance climate action through digital innovation. Hosted by ITU and the German Environmental Agency (UBA), the Summit will include a roundtable on ways to push digital technology to meet its objective of carbon neutrality. Arcep has developed substantial expertise in this area, which will be shared by Board member, Xavier Merlin.

22nd Fratel conference
This annual meeting of the Network of French-speaking electronic communications regulators (Fratel) from around the world (including Arcep, represented by our Chair, Laure de La Raudière) is structured around three roundtables: key regulatory issues and challenges in the international submarine cable market, tools for improving translational terrestrial connectivity and the role of low-earth orbit satellite constellations.
