    Giverny du Numérique

    This event, held at the Maison de la Chimie conference centre, brings together public policymakers, corporate leaders, experts and stakeholders. It aims to provide decision makers with viable solutions for accelerating the digital transition. The environmental issues and challenges inherent in this transition (including discussions about AI) were the focus of this year’s edition, during which Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, lent the Authority’s expertise in this area to the discussions.

    Avicca spring TRIP

    Avicca TRIP is a bi-annual symposium, hosted with the Banque des Territoires, dedicated to local digital issues and innovation. The first edition of 2025 was held on 13 and 14 May at the Institut Pasteur. Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, took part in a roundtable on working together for a successful “France Numérique 2030”.

  3. Bruxelles (Belgique)

    BEREC external workshop on the ecodesign of digital services

    BEREC held a public workshop on the ecodesign of digital services, laying out the core issues and challenges, as well as the levers identified for reducing digital technology’s environmental footprint. Particular focus was given to Arcep’s General policy framework for the ecodesign of digital services (RGESN) which lists 78 ways to help meet environmental impact-reduction targets. It was presented by Arcep staff member, Tom Nico, who co-chairs BEREC’s sustainability working group.

    Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, delivered the opening remarks at the 34th annual International Bar Association (IBA) conference, devoted to competition and communications law.

    Representatives of national regulators from a variety of sectors (communications, transportation, energy, water) from OECD member countries come together within this international body to discuss regulatory matters. Arcep Board member, Mireille Clapot, represented the Authority at the latest session, devoted to the sectors’ resilience, risk assessment, measuring regulators’ impact…

    Senate hearing of the Arcep Chair

    The Arcep Chair came before the Senate to answer questions about the Court of Auditors’ report on government support for optical fibre deployment. The public hearing was livestreamed and is available on the Senate website.

  7. Bruxelles

    13th BEREC Stakeholder Forum

    Arcep Chair, Laure de la Raudière, and Executive Board member, Sarah Jacquier-Pélissier, along with representatives of Arcep departments, will be on hand for the latest edition of the Stakeholder Forum hosted by BEREC in Brussels. This event brings together electronic communications industry players, regulators, lawmakers and all other stakeholders to discuss the sector’s latest developments. The event will include two roundtables, on the “Role of end users in fast changing digital markets” and the “Future of market power regulation” (i.e. SMP players’ ability to influence the market price of a good or service, rather than having to accept the price determined purely by supply and demand under perfect competition conditions).

    2025 Annual Culture Presse Conference

    Arcep Chair, Laure de la Raudière, spoke at the annual Culture Presse Conference, an event that brings together elected officials and this newsagent trade organisation’s delegates. The event took place during a time of deep-seated change for the sector, as efforts to promote the value of the newsagent profession are currently being negotiated by press distribution stakeholders, who are due to submit their proposals to Arcep in the coming weeks on how to improve this essential link in the sector’s chain.

    Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

    Arcep Executive Board members, Sarah Jacquier-Pelissier and Xavier Merlin, along with representatives of Arcep departments, attended the Mobile World Congress (MWC), an international event that attracts leading mobile industry stakeholders, manufacturers, operators, digital service providers, etc.

    “RightsCon” Summit

    Arcep took part in the international “RightsCon” Summit, building a bridge between tech businesses and human rights. Arcep organised an online roundtable on “Achieving digital sustainability: how can digital governance support ecodesign principles?”. Its goal: to discuss the means that lawmakers and regulators have to encourage the ecodesign of digital services.
