Keynote at the Avicca Trip
Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, will deliver a keynote at the “Autumn TRIP” hosted by Avicca. This popular event for local authorities will spend two days exploring the ins and outs of regional digital development. The symposium will tackle multiple topics: the legacy copper network switch-off, network resilience, indoor mobile coverage, financing FttH network operation and the digital sector’s sustainability.

21st annual Fratel meeting
Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, accompanied by representatives of the Authority’s “International Affairs” unit, will travel to Niger for the 21st annual Fratel meeting. This event will coincide with the 20th anniversary of this Network of French-speaking telecoms regulators, and will tackle the problem of how to get users more involved in regulation.

50th “Culture presse” conference
The 50th “Culture Presse” conference, hosted by the Union of hobby shop retailers and newsagents, will be taking place in Paris on 21, 22 and 23 March 2023. Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, is scheduled to deliver a keynote at this major annual event for press distribution professionals.

“Territoires connectés/Connected Territories” workshops
Arcep is hosting two workshops with local authorities: on fixed connectivity (13 March) and mobile connectivity (15 March).

BEREC plenary meeting
Chaired by the Greek regulator, the first plenary meeting of 2023 of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) will be held online on 9 and 10 March. Arcep Executive Board member, Emmanuel Gabla, will be attending. The conclusions of these two days of meetings will be shared during a public debriefing, livestreamed on the BEREC website on 15 March.

Mobile World Congress
The international mobile industry trade show will open its doors from 27 February to 2 March. Laure de La Raudière will be attending with an Arcep team, from 27 February to 1 March. This year’s event will focus on several major topics: accelerated development of 5G, augmented reality, digitising manufacturing and so-called “open” networks.
