    Barcelona

    Mobile World Congress 2024

    Several staff members, Arcep Board members and its Chair, Laure de La Raudière, will be representing the Authority at the MWC in Barcelona. This event devoted to new mobile technologies will be an opportunity for the sector’s manufacturers, operators and NRAs to discuss the mobile telephony industry’s future.

  2. Ghent (Belgium)

    Keynote at “Tomorrow’s Tech Today”

    Arcep Executive Board member, Emmanuel Gabla, will be participating in the “Tomorrow’s Tech Today”, hosted by the current Belgian President of the Council of the European Union. He will take part in a conference moderated by Belgium’s Minister of Telecommunications, whose goal is to map out a path for a combined digital and Green transition.

    st meeting of BEREC's new "miniboard" to prepare for its 2024 mandate

    After being elected vice-president of BEREC (the european telecoms regulators' group) on 5 and 6 October, Laure de La Raudière, President of Arcep, will take part in the first meeting of BEREC's 2024 executive team (also known as the miniboard) in Zagreb. This miniboard, made up of a chairman and 5 vice-chairmen renewed each year, assists the chariman in his duties, manages the group's activities and represents it externally.

    Keynote at the Avicca Trip

    Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, will deliver a keynote at the “Autumn TRIP” hosted by Avicca. This popular event for local authorities will spend two days exploring the ins and outs of regional digital development. The symposium will tackle multiple topics: the legacy copper network switch-off, network resilience, indoor mobile coverage, financing FttH network operation and the digital sector’s sustainability.

    Niamay

    21st annual Fratel meeting

    Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, accompanied by representatives of the Authority’s “International Affairs” unit, will travel to Niger for the 21st annual Fratel meeting. This event will coincide with the 20th anniversary of this Network of French-speaking telecoms regulators, and will tackle the problem of how to get users more involved in regulation.

    50th “Culture presse” conference

    The 50th “Culture Presse” conference, hosted by the Union of hobby shop retailers and newsagents, will be taking place in Paris on 21, 22 and 23 March 2023. Arcep Chair, Laure de La Raudière, is scheduled to deliver a keynote at this major annual event for press distribution professionals.
